Bats for Will
Bats for Will is a charity project that auctions painted cricket bats to support community inclusivity services for neurodivergence. Will Clarke is a 24-year-old man who lives with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and has loved playing cricket since the age of seven. Throughout his life, he has faced many challenges, but with the support of his family has been able to play the sport and achieve much success in his life.
The organisation "Where There's A Will" was founded by his mother, Ange which has unified communities across the country to rally around people with intellectual and physical disabilities. Cricket bats are sanded down and sent all over the world to participating artists. Julie has been a part of this for five years, contributing three bat pieces; floral roses, fisherman and pelican.
